The University Professor Giuseppe Germanò, teacher of Internal Medicine in the Faculty  of Medicine and Surgery of the University La Sapienza in Rome, Hypertension Service Manager of the I Medical Clinic of the University Umberto I in Rome, has signed an agreement with Strale Tecnologie e Sistemi srl.
The agreement provides the supply of technologies able to monitor blood pressure of patients at risk and to prevent any worsening of the patient’s conditions.
Fifty patients will use technologically advanced sphygmos that in case of high blood pressure send out an alarm to operative headquarters that examine the resulting data.

 

 

More patients will be monitored each year with the result of having a real screening on patients at risk. Collected data will be studied during a congress in which this project’s advantages and results will be presented.
